Can a Theft Class Save Your Soul?
Why do people steal? That is a question I ask to each of my students in our theft classes. It may surprise you to learn that few steal out of necessity. Most steal because they want something and many steal just for the thrill.
What many thieves fail to realize is they are jeopardizing their lives, personally, financially, mentally and emotionally by stealing. It is an act they know is wrong.
Human Beings are Good by Nature
This innate, sometimes subconscious understanding that what they are doing is inherently wrong corrupts their souls. Perhaps I am an optimist, but I think human beings are wired for good. I think we are here to look out for ourselves, our families and our fellow man.
When was the last time you did something nice for someone out of the goodness of your heart? If you can remember one of those times, you know it felt good!
Starting today, use your life for the betterment of others. Do something nice for someone. Feel good about yourself by helping others. I assure you it is an addictive feeling. Helping others creates the most positive, addicting feeling on the planet!
